I’m Owaxx, born Ogieva Godstime Owas on March 26, 1999, in Benin City, Nigeria. Music has always lived in me. From singing in the church choir to exploring melodies on the piano, it was more than just a passion—it was an escape.
In 2014, during one of the toughest moments in my life, I found healing in songwriting. Inspired by Wizkid’s “Ojuelegba,” I began writing from a place of truth and vulnerability.
For three years, I wrote in silence—no hype, just heart. In 2017, I finally hit the studio and recorded my first single. That moment wasn’t just a milestone—it was the beginning of something real.
